Kesalahan: Pelanggaran aturan Inversi setelah Negative Adverb (No sooner). Struktur yang benar adalah: No sooner + Had + Subject + Past Participle (Inversi).

Kesalahan: Kalimat menggunakan kata kerja yang menyatakan permintaan atau saran (recommended) yang diikuti oleh klausa that (Subjunctive Mood). Setelah Subjunctive Mood, kata kerja harus dalam bentuk dasar (base form).
Perbaikan: revises harus diubah menjadi revise.

Kesalahan: Pelanggaran Parallel Structure (Struktur Sejajar). Kalimat mencantumkan daftar aktivitas (deforestation, combustion of fossil fuels, dan industrialized agricultural practices). Elemen ketiga harus berupa noun phrase (frasa benda) agar sejajar dengan dua elemen pertama.

Kesalahan: Dangling Participle/Modifier (Partisipel Menggantung). Frasa awal Having submitted... harus merujuk pada subjek yang melakukan aksi tersebut. Bukan the success yang mengajukan proposal, melainkan the entire team.
Perbaikan: Frasa awal harus diikuti oleh subjek yang benar. The success of the project harus diubah menjadi the entire team.
6. C. will worsen
Kesalahan: Penggunaan Modal Verb (will) tidak tepat untuk menyatakan konsekuensi logis atau prediksi yang bergantung pada kondisi yang disarankan dalam klausa utama. Selain itu, should reduce sudah menyiratkan saran.
Perbaikan: will worsen harus diubah menjadi would worsen (untuk konsistensi modal) atau menggunakan Simple Present untuk kepastian: worsens.
7. that developed much later on
Kesalahan: yang diperbandingkan adalah writing systems (jamak).
Catatan: maka seharusnya bukan that developed much later on diganti dengan yang jamak, yaitu those developed much later on.
8. C. effective
Kesalahan: Kata kerja (compete) harus dimodifikasi oleh Adverb (kata keterangan), bukan Adjective (kata sifat).
Perbaikan: effective harus diubah menjadi effectively.
9. C. a more disastrous
Kesalahan: Kalimat ini menggunakan bentuk Negative Superlative (sangat jarang melihat yang lebih buruk daripada X), yang biasanya membutuhkan Comparative Adjective (more disastrous) diikuti oleh than, tetapi artikel "a" tidak diperlukan di sini karena bukan frasa benda. Selain itu, kolokasi "rarely... see a more..." sudah memiliki struktur yang kurang lazim.
Perbaikan: a more disastrous sebaiknya dihilangkan artikelnya atau menggunakan struktur superlative yang lebih lugas. Namun, kesalahan tata bahasa terkuat ada di a yang tidak diperlukan setelah rarely.
10. D. or not
Kesalahan: Penggunaan "whether... or not" secara eksplisit di akhir kalimat adalah tautology (berlebihan) setelah "hinges on whether...". Kata whether sudah menyiratkan dua kemungkinan.
Perbaikan: Frasa or not seharusnya dihilangkan. Kalimat yang benar cukup whether the public will support it.
